We were attacked byva woman who brought her pet into Dollar Tree by us. When I called the police for her harassment and kicking and attacking me and taking pictures of us. He downplayed it all, lied on his report and that's after she said she openly brought her pet into the 7mil Dollar Tree, Livonia MI and he didn't care she broke the law and also is class 3 misdemeanor what she did to my Service Dog and I. However he went into store they were mad I reported it as that was 3issue on their property and I called they are not despite their lieing saying they are pet friendly to the cop he let them retaliate and tell me I was not allowed back in after my Service Dog and I were attacked by a pet owne that had no place being there. ADA is not useful and despite explaining Ada laws and hippa the officer mocked me, degraded and humiliated me during the whole situation, nothing I said based on ADA Laws and my rights mattered, he was acting disrespectful and entitled arrogant not willing to speak to an ADA person or a lawyer that would clearly tell the officer the employees are breaking the law and the pet owner needs to be held accountable. I suffered for two weeks after going to ER from the attack and nothing was done because I had no one with me to speak on my behalf and no one seeing what happened recorded and was willing to come forward on my behalf. So I now drive to other cities sick of it in my city. Tried talking to city mayor but the arrogant ignorant receptionist refused to let me, and sonI contacted the city and state representative tired of it. So now I am looking to move when I can as it's ludicrous the cops and places around me refuse to enforce the Federal ADA and HIPAA Laws putting handlers at risk by their behavior and actions of not enforcing the Federal ADA and HIPAA Laws.
